The Spaghetti House
Saturday 19th July 2014
1. Zafferano Linguine con Scampi: saffron linguine with scampi, seafood bisque and cream $25.50
2. Vongole: baby clams, chilli, garlic, wine and parsley $19.90
3. Brocolini con Aglio e Peperoncino: broccolini tossed with garlic, chilli and olive oil $9.90
We also had the pane rustico as entree which was ciabatta with balsamic vinegar and olive oil but that was pretty disappointing. Ciabatta tastes like old dry bread. Nowhere near as good as sour dough and they have such little vinegar it just felt like I was dipping in oil.
My saffron linguini was pretty good. The sauces were quite bland but the scampi was really good =D broccolini was also very nice. We both had entree size which was a good amount but not too filling.
I like how you can book online but this place seems suited for more special occasions than everyday dining.
