I love Easter! So many bunnies!!!
Also much self control is required in Daiso. I Don’t need shoe polish nor cute flower pots….but couldn’t resist the money boxes :3
Of all the places to bump into someone you haven’t seen in a while, this is by far the coolest coincidence. Quick update because I’m awake too early. I got a cold the day before we left but luckily it wasn’t full blown and I’m getting better. No food poisoning yet!!! Sleep is weird…I’m so tired but I keep waking up early in the morning. Today we’re going to Sentosa.
Had two needles today for Hep A and Typhoid immunisation for my upcoming overseas trip.
After the needles I was like cool, that wasn’t that painful. Then my stomach started feeling weird…the I felt nauseated and then I got very dizzy. Next thing I know, I’m waking up on the bed sweating.
Tuesday 7th January
Disney has done it again. OMG this movie is amazing! The visuals were so … my vocabulary can’t even describe its beauty. I was very meh about the singing in Tangled…but I loved every song in this movie. I liked the storyline, even though it wasn’t as deep as Wreck-it-Ralph, I didn’t sit there and try to predict what was going to happen. It was simply magical. I loved every minute. GAHHHH
For once, a Disney movie where “prince charming” doesn’t save the day. Interestingly, one of the directors is female, and was a writer for the screenplay for Frozen as well as Wreck-it-Ralph. I am looking out for you, Jennifer Lee…
This is my dream car. It will probably change but right now, this is what I like =D
Lexus because their logo is an L.
Time to save 80k.
Saturday 4th January 2014 - Brisbane International
Was invited to go with a friend to the Brisbane International and could only make the Women’s finals. We bought category A tickets and could only choose between sitting right at the back or at the front in the “restricted viewing” section. It was the right decision to pick the front because we ended up being four rows back and right behind where the players rest. =D Although the umpire chair and cameras were blocking the left side of the court, it was still worth it being so close to the players.
There was definitely a different feel being at the match than watching on tv. I found I was more absorbed in each shot, how fast it was, where it went, the ball’s proximity to the net etc, than in caring about who was winning and what the score was. I wanted Serena Williams to win but at one stage I hoped Victoria Azarenka would win the set to make the match last longer xD
We also saw the women’s doubles finals which had some pretty exciting volleys.
It was an awesome experience and I would definitely go again =DD
