28 March 2014
I didn’t want to write anything about this because it was bad/embarrassing experience which I don’t think I’ll forget about anytime soon. So it will be short: I drank something strong, got sick, continuously threw up, had to get off boat early, continued being sick every time I drank water and couldn’t even stand up without feeling sick. I wasn’t even drunk, just sick. Not going to be drinking anymore and I felt really bad for ruining the night.
Le Bon Choix

Went to Le Bon Choix for breakfast. The croissant is amaaaaaaaaazingggggg…..*drool*
Late March - Early April
On March 15/16/17 ish I started getting little round spots about half a centimetre in diameter around my stummy area. Then it spread everywhere starting from my front, to my back, and onto my arms and legs.
I went to uni on a Wednesday morning for clinic but when I told the treatment coordinator I had spots that looked like chicken pox, she took me to see the health and safety officer who then took me to see a max fax. He said it was unlikely to be contagious but unless I had blood tests, they couldn’t be certain so I had to go see my GP.
My GP said it was probably pityriasis rosea which is caused by a viral infection but isn’t really contagious so didn’t require isolation. He prescribed some cream and said I would just have to wait it out for 6-8 weeks.
In the beginning I thought I would be okay without the cream but then I started waking up in the middle of the night because it was so itchy. The corticosteroid cream helped a little and it did start to clear up eventually.
There are no pictures because I didn’t want to take any because it was so disgusting. It spread up my neck and people kept asking me if I was okay. I looked pretty diseased and gross. ):
I would have taken it at 1000km but I don’t want to randomly stop on the side of the road just to do that.
You mush a banana and mix with a beaten egg.
Don’t make them, they taste bad ):
Like cooked, overly sweet, overly ripe banana…
There’s no picture of the actual pancake because it turned out very ugly ):
Friday 4th July 2014
Ole Fiesta is a Mexican Restaurant in the City with 91% Urban Spoon rating. Apparently they have very authentic tasting mexican food. We went there on a date because my friend had a groupon voucher that was expiring.
$30 for All-you-can-eat tacos and 2 glasses of Sangria.
We had 7 tacos between us and tried all the flavours; beef, pork, chicken and refriend beans. I’m no expert on Mexican food so I can’t comment on how authentic it is, but personally I prefer the chicken chipotle taco from Salsas. I found the meat at Ole on the drier side and although the filling was nice and zesty, I don’t think I was particularly impressed.
Sangria was probably on the nicer side of potential alcoholic drinks but I got a headache. #lightweight
The tacos are $10 each so we ate $70 worth. The drinks are usually $10 a glass. Even though it was really good value, I would still rather spend my $30 on Salsas. Here is an unflattering photo of the tacos:
Oherro long time no see.
Have a backlog of things to blog.
In the meantime, I found a selfie app that makes my skin looks nice :3
Also, today I made an order for a birthday present at 10-11am and received it in the arvo at 3pm. Dat shipping. Lorac Pro Palette is pretty amazing.
My 21 is moving out because I removed my fixed retainer because it broke. I can finally floss properly but zzzzz crooked tooth. Want to wait till I graduate to do my own invisalign.
Friday 2nd May 2014 - WTS
Went for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy today because I was getting stummy ows and feeling nauseous.
I started low fibre diet on Tuesday which = being fat and eating all the meat but no vegetables. Was actually very uncomfortable not being able to eat veggies. Then after lunch on Thursday I had to stop eating completely and survive only on fluids and jelly. Then came drinking Picolax which resulted in watery diarrhoea. I was supposed to wake up at 6am on Friday morning to start drinking 2L of Colonlytely but I kept dreaming about getting up to make the solution and never actually did it. So I started at 7 and it was bleurgh. Salty sweet not “bad” tasting but you get sick of it quickly. Anyway I had trouble drinking that much liquid so I only got through about 1.2L but it was okay because by that time my waste was just very yellow liquid.
At the hospital I filled out some paperwork and then had a mini med history interview with a nurse. Then got into a gown and was given a very warm blanket. Was wheeled into the room and got my first cannula… ): mildy painful. They gave me a ring to bite on and oxygen tubes for my nose. ( I always thought these went really far into the nose but the little bits that stick in are less than 1cm) I was told to breathe deeply and I felt no hazy phase just suddenly unconscious.
When I woke up I was in the recovery room and felt kinda tipsy. The nurse came over with food and asked if I wanted cold or warm water. Two minutes later I couldn’t remember how the sandwiches got there and if I was allowed to eat them or not. I asked the nurse and I remember eating the sandwiches and that they were yummy but have no recollection of what was in the sandwiches. The doctor came by and said everything was fine except I had a bit of reflux so he gave me some nexium. After I was discharged I felt really emo and couldn’t stop crying for no reason.
Had maccas for dinner which I now slightly regret.
